Latest Cakes

Here are some pictures of cakes that we have yet to put on our blog. I apologize for the HUGE delay! Who knew that having a baby took up almost all of your time! These aren't in any particular order of when they were made and I didn't add all the small detailed information either. Honestly, with this many, I tend to forget who had what flavor and such.

I can say that we have had so much fun making these cakes! We do try to use as much cake as possible instead of using other things to build our cakes. We want our cakes to be completely edible and we pride ourselves in doing so as often as we can. Please continue to check out our blog and look for new creations! Thanks!!

January

Welcome to the 80's my friends! We tried something new with our cakes by adding an actual speaker box to the bottom of the cake. We had run speakers from the box to an MP3 player. This was a very fun birthday cake to make for a dear friend! The cake worked perfect for the party and ended up being a huge hit!

This is just the top of a cupcake stand that we made. It was a monkey themed party and we had matching cupcakes to go with the theme. We made little monkey heads to top the cupcakes with. I will add a photo with the whole stand put together.

My father-in-laws birthday happened to fall on the same weekend as the big Packer/Bears game. So not only was this cake fitting since he is a HUGE Packers fan, but it also doubled as a   'Congratulations, we're going to the Super Bowl' cake!

Welcome to the new year!

First of all, we'd like to thank everyone who continues to visit our site and check out our cakes! We love what we do and look forward to making many more creations this year.

We hope you all had an amazing year in 2010 and we wish that 2011 brings you everything you'd imagined!

Please feel free to email us with any questions or concerns that you have regarding any of our cakes. Also, if you'd like to order a cake or cupcakes, please let us know and we will get right back to you with some information.

Thank you again!

November & December 2010 Cakes

The tennis cake was a birthday cake for a friend's sister. We did a play on the score, since she was turning 45. We also made a tennis net for the center, but we put that on once we delivered it to make sure it didn't break.

A martini cake! We did a similar design to the margarita cake. This was made for a birthday as well. We added the green olives and a stir stick to make it more like an actual martini.

This was a birthday cake that we made for Bradene's husband, Mark. He enjoys a Monster energy drink every now an then, so we found it fitting to make it for him.

Yes, these are both cakes! We made a cake to fit into the margarita glass and then also a small matching cake for the rest of the guests. The small cake was accented with lime slices and coordinating colors to the margarita cake.

November News

Hello Friends!

First of all, thank you very much for checking out our blog and our cakes! I have to apologize for being so behind on posting pictures of our recent creations. October was an incredibly busy month for us. Between a wedding in Hawaii and a reception the following weekend, we had little time to log on and update everyone.

We have been making a cake about every week and recently we have had two orders a week. We love the business and making everyones celebration special.

I really hope to update our blog as soon as I can find some time and go through our recent pictures.

Thank you again so much for checking us out!

September Cakes

September brought us some really fun cakes! We started off the month making a fun poker Birthday cake! An Avatar cake followed. It was a little challenging to make the cake look similar to the DVD cover, but with fondant and buttercream we made it work. We created an amazing dirt bike cake! We used rice crispies wrapped in fondant as the hay bales and chocolate graham crackers for the dirt. You can never go wrong with a Cowboys cake! Who wants a carrot carrot cake? This was a fun cake to make as well! It was a delicious carrot cake with cream cheese filling, formed into the shape of a carrot. And last, but not least we made a cute baby shower cake. The theme was Precious Planet and we made marble cakes and white cupcakes. The cake was decorated with the Precious Planet logo and some characters and the cupcakes were topped with one of the characters as well. This was an adorable cake.
